Almost to the Finish Line!
We have less than 12 hours remaining before our Kickstarter campaign is over! This is your last chance to lock in your pledge. The Premium Edition physical version that can be obtained through this Kickstarter will have exclusive elements so don't miss out!
Congratulations! Thanks to your help, we have acquired yet another vocal track, which will be composed by Noriyuki Iwadare and sang by Jennifer Stigile. This track will be played on the opening video (think of the opening video of a Wild Arms game or Lunar: Silver Star Story).
We're closing in fast on the next Stretch Goal: Argent's Story. If our current trajectory continues, all backers will have an additional game!
Given that the momentum is continuing, we have added yet another Stretch Goal!
Mystery Actor - $265,000!
We cannot announce the name right now until we finalise a few more details, but we will have an amazing actor to voice a prominent role in the game if we reach the $265K goal. Just know that we try to make all our stretch goals exciting, and this one will not disappoint! Just know that we're super excited about this!
Here's a quick hint: this actor has voiced an awesome JRPG before.

Two Stretch Goals Attained!
There has been a huge influx of backers during the past 2 days. Thanks to your efforts, we have unlocked the highly-anticipated Playable Dog and additional Armour Sprites for Adanna and Ruby!
With the playable dog, our level/game designer Decky is very excited to make some areas to incorporate the 'doggy-related' gameplay. To be honest, we were quite overwhelmed with the amount of support for dog, and we're happy to add him to the game.
And for those of you wondering, the dog's name is Rex.
Two New Stretch Goals!
Good news! We're announcing 2 new stretch goals, and we still have over a day to go (at the time of this writing).
New Vocal Track
If we reach the $235K stretch goal, then Noriyuki Iwadare will compose another vocal track for Godshard Chronicles! This track will be for the new opening animation that was unlocked at $180K. And best of all, it will be sung by Jennifer Stigile.
New Game: Argent's Story
If we manage to reach the $250K stretch goal, we will unlock a new prequel game called Argent's Story. This will be 2 player co-op, as well, and the main characters will be voiced by John Truitt and Jennifer Stigile.
This story will take place long before the events of Godshard Chronicles. The main characters will be Argent and Sylvana. If you look closely, you can see a flashback of the pair in the following video:
The prequel game will be rather short - around 5 hours of main story time. Best of all, all backers of the game will receive a free copy should we unlock this stretch goal.
Signed Iwadare-san OST - 2nd Wave
Iwadare-san has agreed to sign more OSTs, so we opened up a 2nd Wave of signed OSTs. You can now select it as an Add-On. This OST will be from J-Cat Games and have the same tracks as the OST from the Premium Edition Physical bundles, but unfortunately, we cannot combine them together as one order, since they will be produced and shipped by separate companies. We apologise for this inconvenience.
When selecting this add-on, we will send out a survey later. Please note which name you would like Iwadare-san to personalise when he signs. This is to prevent resale of signed copies for an inflated price online. Iwadare-san was thrilled to see the enthusiasm and support, and has expressed disappointment that he wasn't able to sign the OSTs in person for you.
New Community Goal!
This happened quite recently, but we have reached more than 10 Fan Art submissions. Now we have 15 Community Goal Points, resulting in Jennifer Stigile adding her voice to a certain character in the game. Congratulations and well done for helping out!
We still have the chance to earn even more points! We're approaching 8,500 X followers, 500 Discord Members, 7,500 Steam Wishlists, and 15 Fan-Art submissions! Let's keep earning these points for free rewards!
Final Community Goal Reward
For our next announcement, here is the final Community Goal reward: Adanna will be able to have a pet cat! If this reward is reached, players will be able to get a cat and keep it at Adanna's house.
Mailing to Canada and the EU
In regards to some of the recent physical options (art book or OST) produced and shipped by J-Cat Games, we've had some requests for mailing to the EU and Canada, and we opened up shipping for those in these areas. Unfortunately, the rates were not to our liking, and we apologise for this, but at least there's an option now.

Almost to $200K!
At the time of this writing (60 hours to go), we're almost to $200K. We appreciate the support and let's keep it going! Once there, we will announce yet another stretch goal.
Announcement: Wayô Records Collaboration
We're excited to announce that we partnered with Wayô Records to bring you the Godshard Chronicles OST on vinyl! This edition includes 2 vinyls, a booklet, and even sheet music of the Main Theme track by Noriyuki Iwadare.
The best part of this physical OST is that it ships worldwide!

Note: This 2xLP OST contains the same music tracks as the OSTs included on the PS4/5 Steelbook Editions, the Nintendo Switch Retro Edition, and our Double-CD OST.
New Reward Tiers
There were a few requests for the physical OST without the game. Furthermore, there were those who ordered the digital game, but could not make a physical ADD-ON. Hence, we came up with a solution:
2-CD OST Only Tier - Comes with only the physical soundtrack. We apologise in advance, but this only ships to the USA, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
Spoony Knight 3: Comes with the Physical OST LPs by Wayô Records along with a digital copy of the game on a console of your choice, the digital OST, name in credits, Knight role in Discord, wallpaper, and backer-exclusive updates. Best of all, this ships worldwide.
Limited Edition Cassette Tape
We're offering a limited edition cassette tape containing a few tracks by Noriyuki Iwadare and Shauno Isomura for $10 USD. These were produced in very limited quantities for the Tribute to Noriyuki Iwadare concert in Japan on October of 2023.
There are only 40 of these, so grab one while you can! You can get one with the ADD-ON option.
Note: Only ships to USA, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
On another subject, we did add shipping to Canada for our Physical Art Book Add-On.

Animated Opening + More Cutscenes
Congratulations! We have surpassed $180,000! That means we can provide more animation to the key points of the story, which will add more emotional impact to the storytelling. Now the game will feature an opening animation, which will play before the title screen. In case you're wondering what this is, think of the openings of the Wild Arms or the Lunar series.
Now we're closing in on the $200,000 stretch goal, which is the playable dog character! Let's keep the momentum going!
New Stretch Goal Announcement
With 3 days left of the campaign, we are projected to hit surpass $200,000. Therefore, we have come up with something new:
That's right! New alternate costumes for Adanna and Ruby. We've heard quite a few players wanting a separate wardrobe for our two main characters, so we've explored our options and decided this was possible. Keep in mind, our characters move in 8 directions and require different animations for each action, doubling the work load of many RPGs that only have 3 or 4 different directions.
By reaching this stretch goal, we will offer the alternate armour sprites for players from the very beginning of the game. (Note: the sprites pictured above are subject to change).

Hard Mode & New Game +
Thanks to the sudden surge of your support during the past day, we've reached our next stretch goal! Now players seeking a challenge can select a higher difficulty mode. Furthermore, New Game+ will allow players to use their hard-earned gear and experience to start the adventure over with ease.

CD OST Clarification
Our post from yesterday has caused some confusion regarding the OSTs. Those who ordered the Premium Edition physicals were wondering if the OSTs included would be lacking in music tracks compared to the physical double CD OST announced yesterday. That is not the case, and we apologise for the confusion.
We would like to clarify that anyone who has ordered the PlayStation 4/5 Steelbook Edition, the Nintendo Switch Retro Edition, and the Double CD OST (standalone) will receive the OST with the same listing of tracks, including the physical exclusive tracks.
Here's a break breakdown of each:
- Premium Edition Soundtrack PS4/5: 2 CDs. Complete OST. Booklet with interview and pictures. Kickstarter exclusive art. Exclusive bonus tracks. - Double CD Soundtrack: (recently announced) 2 CDs. Complete OST. Exclusive slipcase with exclusive variant artwork of Adanna & Ruby. Booklet with interview and pictures. Exclusive bonus tracks. - Retro Edition Soundtrack: 2 CDs. Complete OST. Kickstarter exclusive art. Booklet with interview and pictures. Exclusive bonus tracks. - Digital OST: Complete OST. Does not include exclusive tracks, booklet, or artwork.
So TLDR: The Physical OST CDs will contain the same tracks, including the exclusives. The Premium Edition OSTs will have Kickstarter exclusive art. The Double CD Soundtrack standalone will have an exclusive slipcase.
We hope this answers all the confusion from yesterday. Once again, your OST included with the Premium Edition physical will contain all the tracks the other physical OSTs have! So you don't need to worry about missing out.

Physical Hardcover Art Book
Due to large demand, we will offer a Kickstarter-exclusive edition of a physical Hardcover Art book. To receive this, just select Add-on to your physical tier.
The Art Book will be in full-colour with concept art, illustrations, and pixel art from our artists, along with developers' comments, interviews of team members (such as Noriyuki Iwadare and John Truitt), and more!
Note: Only a limited quantity of 120 will be available as an Add-on (For those interested in having this with a reward tier, please leave a comment below and state what type of tier you'd like this with and we'll try our best to make it happen). The physical artbook also comes with the digital. Ships only to the USA and the UK.
Community Goals
We're closing in on a few Community Goals at once! YouTube is nearing 500 subscribers, and our Kickstarter campaign approaches 2,000 backers (these might have been met by the time you read this). This would result in 13 Community Goal points, which unlocks the action: Pet the Dog!
Next Goal:
Jennifer Stigile not only sang on the Lunar games, she also played Jean and Ruby in Lunar 2: Eternal Blue. If we reach 15 goals, we'll unlock her as an actor!
Since we have started this project, we've spoken to many of you through Discord and are amazed at the kindness you have shown us. We are extremely grateful.
We would also like to express our gratitude towards those who provided us feedback on the Discord channel. This was valuable in helping us improve, as our goal is to deliver the best game (and products) we possibly can.
